The hip-hop dream team, Kanye West and Jay-Z, plan to release a collaboration album, according to Kanye’s Twitter. This dude never lets me down… always full of exciting surprises!

Kanye West announced via Twitter that he andJay-Z plan to drop a five song EP titled Watch The Throne, which does not yet have a release date. The album will include Kanye’s “Power” remix, which features both Jay and Swizz Beatz.

Rapper Kanye West has followed through on his promise to work with Justin Bieber - teaming up with Raekwon to remix one of the teenager's songs.

The pair struck up a friendship on Twitter.com earlier this month after a series of praising messages. West told Bieber: "Maybe we can do something together. Me, You and Raekwon." Bieber was stunned by the proposal, replying to the star, "Me, u, and the chef 2gether (sic) on a song = EPIC. Haha. Might sound crazy 2 u (sic) but even having this convo (conversation) is living the dream." And West has made the teen's dreams come true by remixing his track Runaway Love with fellow rapper Raekwon. In a post on his Twitter.com page, the Stronger hitmaker writes, "Finishing Justin Bieber Runaway Love remix too.. don't know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon's verse is crazy!!!"

Jay-Z is now cashing in on his love for the New York Yankees. This comes as no surprise because Jay is known for name dropping the Yankees on almost every track. The hip hop mogul just signed a lucrative deal with the Yankee MLB organization to feature hats, t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts with his name and the Yankee logo.

This has never been done before in the history of sports; Jay-Z is making his own lane and rightfully so. The attire was created to commemorate the concert with Jay-Z and Eminem at Yankee stadium on September 13th and 14th.

After rocking the country with her Last Girl on Earth Tour, chart-topper Rihanna is ready to rock the silver screen. Rihanna is set to star in her first feature film, and we’ve just received some new info!

Rihanna snagged a starring role in an upcoming action movie titled Battleship, though her role has not yet been confirmed. The film is a science fiction naval war film based on the Hasbro game of the same name. This will be the “Rude Boy” singer’s first starring role and she’s joined by a cast that includes Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and Alexander Skarsgard (who plays sexy Eric on HBO’s True Blood). The two Hollywood actors will play brothers who lead the fight for their planet’s survival against an otherworldly force. The film will be told from both points of view – humans and aliens. (I did always want to know what aliens are really thinking.)  Peter Berg is set to direct the film with an expected release date of May 25th, 2012.

In addition to getting ready for her Hollywood debut, Rihanna is working on the follow-up to her latest hit album, Rated R, and traveling on the road for her Last Girl On Earth Tour with wild child Ke$ha. She’s also been busy planning pop singer Katy Perry‘s bachelorette party. Rihanna told Access Hollywood of planning the bash: “It’s taking up way more time than my tour. It’s so much pressure. Her wedding [to British comedian Russell Brand] is probably going to be the best wedding I’ve ever been to and now I have to match the bachelorette party to that.” Awww..what a good friend!
